KINDERGARTEN RODEO

Today at school it was kindergarten rodeo. All the kids got to dress like cowboys and girls and then at 2:00 they went into the gym and had a rodeo. They got to lasso chairs, ride stick ponies and drink cactus juice (lemonade). Hailey had a really good time.

A special thanks to Becky for the hat. It's the only cowgirl accessories we had. Thank you, the hat is so cute on her.

WEDNESDAY'S ICE STORM FUN

wednesday was no school due to bad ice so we got to babysit our goddaughter and her two sisters. Hailey got a hold of the camera and decided she needed some pictures.

BAKIN' BANANA BREAD

Hailey helped me make banana bread the other day, as you can see she got really into it.

MY NEW HAIRCUT

On January 20, 2009 I decided to get a more sophisticated look. I got about six inches cut off. I really like the change.

MEDIEVAL TIMES

On January 16, 2009 Matt and I decided on a whim to take the kids to Medieval Times. We were given Royal seating and we were in the front row. The kids had so much fun eating with their hands and watching the battles. Hailey really got into it and was yelling really load "GO RED, GO RED, GO REEEEEDDDD!!! It was so much fun.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

On January 12, 2009 the kids had their first day of school in Fort Worth TX. Hailey went from going 2 full days a week to five full days a week. Their old school was 6 hours long and their new school is seven hours long.

They have adjusted really well and are making a ton of friends. Owen is getting all A's and really enjoys his three teachers. Hailey really loves her teacher as well.

THE ROAD TO TEXAS DAY 4 NM AND TX

ROAD TRIP TO TEXAS DAY 3 CA AND AZ

THE ROAD TO TX DAY 2

Today we left Grants pass OR and finished in Barstow CA. Our total trip today was about 800 miles. It took us about 12 hours. Matt drove most of the way I think I only drove for about 2hours. The dog is doing really well with the trip, he just sleeps in the back seat and he gets out and pees when we do. Everything is going really well. We are really anxious to get to our new house. 2 more days and we will be there!

Please continue to pray for us. We still have a lot more driving to do.

THE ROAD TO TEXAS DAY 1

Today we had a lot of things to tend to before we actually left WA. We finally got on the road at 12:00 pacific time. We arrived in Grants pass Oregon at 8:15 we drove around 400 miles. We would have gone further but it was dark and the mountain passed required chains. We decided to tackle the pass in the morning when we can see better. Please pray for us tomorrow as we make it through CA.

We miss you already.

SNOW, SNOW AND MORE SNOW

PROOF

PROOF THAT GOD HAS A SENSE OF HUMOR.
Here is WA we never get snow so this 11 inches on my table is quite funny. This state only has a few plows and no salt or sand so they just leave the roads with 11 inches of snow on them and people just drive and get stuck. I feel sorry for the people who live up on a big hill. I don't know how they go anywhere.
