32ND BIRTHDAY

Yesterday was my 32nd birthday. I had the perfect day. Matt took the day off to spend with me so we dropped the kids off at school and went to South Lake Texas. South Lake Texas is a cute little down town type area with some really great shopping. We went window shopping and then split a lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. To make the day even better, it was 65 degrees and sunny outside. After lunch we made our way towards home and picked up the kids at school, played outside for a little while and then went to TGI Friday's for dinner. Matt and I were still full from lunch so we split some dinner and desert. It was a really great day. My Mom gave me a Pandora bracelet with three charms for my birthday and the kids gave me three more charms on my birthday. I also got a 500 GIG removable hard drive for all my pictures. It was the best day ever. I love you family!!!!

February was Military Appreciation Day at the Fort Worth Rodeo. We got FREE tickets!!! We had a really good time.

I'M GOING TO SCHOOL

I have been in school now for three weeks. I am taking Pre-Algebra. I continue to maintain a 100 percent even after turning in two assignments. I go to school on Monday and Wednesday from 12:20- 1:40. I was really nervous but I am surprising myself at how well I'm doing. I am 16 days ahead of schedule on my homework and I get excited about doing homework.

Everyone is doing well here, My mom is coming to visit February 4-10 so we are really excited about that. It's always nice to have visitors.

I want to say Congratulations to my friends the Drivers on the adoption of their baby twins Thomas and David. They just arrived home from Ethiopia and are getting back to real life. My prayers are with them for a smooth transition. I love you guys!!

IT'S OFFICIAL

OK folks,
I am officially a student at Tarrant County College!!!! GO ME, GO ME!!! Classes start on November 15. I am getting a degree in applied science and going to Hygiene school. This whole thing started when I couldn't find a job as an ortho assistant and I'm home all day alone so I walked into the local college and registered. It was super easy and all my college is paid for by the US NAVY!!!!!

I am really nervous but I do have most of my credits, all I need is math and bio and 1 art. I think I can, I think I can!!!

I want to set a good example for my kids and teach them that you can do anything with a good education. I am super excited and can't wait to start!!!
