Here is WA we never get snow so this 11 inches on my table is quite funny. This state only has a few plows and no salt or sand so they just leave the roads with 11 inches of snow on them and people just drive and get stuck. I feel sorry for the people who live up on a big hill. I don't know how they go anywhere.

This past weekend Matt Was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps. Commendation Medal. We are very proud him! It's a huge honor!

in the U.S. Navy and United States Marine Corps, the Commendation Medal is considered a somewhat-high decoration reserved for Department level officers, senior CPOs, and as a retirement award.

PROGRESS

So as most of you know I have been doing a diet and exercise program called body for life. I am happy to announce that in five weeks I have lost...... drum roll.......

5 inches in my waist
3 inches in my chest
1/2 inch off my thigh
and as of last week 13 lbs.

I notice that my clothes fit a lot better and I am starting to feel better about myself. I can honestly say that the food part is easy but the weight lifting is hard for me. I find myself praying as I am lifting and saying I can do anything with your help Lord. Please help me to accomplish my goal today and help me gain the strength I need to finish. It really helps knowing that the Lord is with me and I feel better knowing I have help.

This is just the fifth week in my one year journey but I know I will only be successful through my faith. I am thankful for my belief in God and everything I accomplish and have is all because of him.

FIRST TIME FOR PEANUT BUTTER

Today Hailey had an appointment at Northwest Allergy and Asthma. She had a lot of skin tests today and she is not allergic to anything even peanut butter. She has never in her whole 5 years of life had even a taste of peanut butter or nuts. So when we got home we gave Hailey a taste. She really liked it. She is really excited to wake up and have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
