LOOK MOM, NO CAVITIES

Today Hailey went to the Dentist. She was really nervous because she was worried she would have a cavity and have to get a shot. The first picture is her before the cleaning. She would not even look at me. By the end she was having a really good time and she is now looking forward to going back. The best part of her first visit was that she DOES NOT HAVE ANY CAVITIES.

A DAY WITH OUR FRIEND LANDIN

Yesterday I took the kids and our little friend Landin to the base to look at the planes and to go to the lake. It was really fun.

LAKE WORTH

Sunday it was over one hundred degrees so we went to the lake with all our neighbors. All the kids and the adults had such a fun day!!!!

We found some clay at the bottom of the lake and Hailey made these pots. We dried them in the 102 degree sun all day. They are so cool.

TORNADO WARNING

Wednesday June 10-11, 2009 we had some really bad weather and a tornado warning. My trampoline flew across our whole backyard and broke. The little tikes toy house also lifted off the ground and was stopped by our fence. It was a crazy night. Everyone is OK.

OWEN'S AWARDS

Owen's awards included: Honor roll, and all E's (excellent) in behavior. He also received an award for a perfect score on the State test for Math and Reading.

HAILEY'S KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION

The date on the pictures say her graduation was may 29th but it was actually June 2, 2009.

BRAG TIME

OK, so I know it's not nice to brag but this is not about me it's about Owen. A few weeks ago the school sent a note home saying you could nominate your child for the gifted program for the 2009-2010 school year. Of course I filled out the paper work and Owen took the test. We just got a note from the school system yesterday saying that "due to Owen's outstanding scores on the test Owen has been accepted into the gifted program PACE for his 5th grade year" YEAH OWEN!!!!! WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!!! YOU ARE SUCH A SMART KID!!!!!! If You would like to congratulate Owen call him anytime at home. He would love to hear from you!!!

That news was so great and in this same week Owen got his results back from his State test called the TAKS TEST. Here are the results.

Math 42 out of 42 100%

Reading 40 out of 40 100%

CAMP FIRE KIDS

During our trip to Illinois, we had a camp fire in my Mom's backyard. The kids roasted marshmallows, ate smores and told ghost stories.

PAINTED

While we were visiting Illinois, we painted pottery. Hailey painted a bunny and did a really good job. She carried that bunny all around and made a little house for it.

GARDEN PET

A family of rabbits were found in my Mom's garden in the middle of a big bunch of flowers. Tim pulled one of the babies out and the kids got to hold it. It was so small it's eyes were not even opened yet.

MATT'S SISTER'S WEDDING

Matt's sister Kate was married on Saturday May 16, 2009. It was the first wedding the kids have ever attended and they were so good. Hailey was so interested in the whole thing. When it came time for the kids so looked at me and put her hand over her mouth it was so cute. The kids really liked the dancing at the reception. Hailey was a dancin' fool! ! !
